I am not the one who will be left behind; I don't want to go though that anymore. I wanted to also be treated like everyone else. I thought you would understand, but it seems that you never took the time to understand how I feel. What was it that I must do to keep us together, and what must be done in order for us to be forever friends.
But now it's too late, I am not going to go through this anymore. You have been wonderful to know, and be with. I will never forget the times we spent together. I will never forget the times where we were spending time in school together. I will never forget the talks on the phone at all hours of the day. But it's just time for me to break out and express how I feel.
I know that most friends come and go. In my heart I had to let you go, is just seems that we were drifting apart, as our friendship faded. I don't know what to do but move on, I know that we will find a new best friend. And adventure to know memories and moments that will be unforgettable. I will always remember you, and never forget you. –Jake Mendez Jr.

Doing Just fine
take a look around; I see the smiling faces around me. I look back with a smile, and say hello to the world. The question how are you doing? Comes and goes, sometime I feel happy, sometimes, I feel good, sometimes I feel worried, and sometimes I feel mad, and sometimes where I'm sad.
I don't know why I hide the feeling while I put on a smile and say I am doing just fine. Knowing that it's not, but who can take honesty at any place? I feel like I am lucky and times where I'm drunk, and times where I am hungry and times where I'm full, and times where I'm crying, and times where I am laughing.
It's the feeling that no one sees, but all you can do it to smile and say that you are doing just fine… -Jake Mendez Jr.

I See Aliens Too
Allot of white folks are always curious about life on outer space. And They seem to believe that there are aliens out there, and say that they have seen sighting of them. And I am thinking, well shit I see them all the time. There are allot coming from Mexico, to Los Angeles, even all of southern Texas area also. I see allot of sighting of aliens everyday. Nothing new right? But these white folks still believe the ones from outer space... -Jake Mendez Jr.

Mexican Express
Before I went off to college I was on that Quest card, you know the food stamp card. That to me was my Mexican express. No Mexican can't leave home with out it. Trust me, it's a good card to pay off debts also, if you owe some one five dollars you can buy them five dollars worth of groceries. Yeah, that's an Mexican express for you out there. -Comedian Jake Mendez Jr.
